Chennai Super Kings is one of the most successful teams of IPL and have won the title twice. Captain M.S. Dhoni and his unmatched tactics have been the force behind CSK success and in 2012 IPL, Dhoni will try his best to once prove that he is the ideal candidate to lead in the shorter version of the game. In the first match of IPL 2012 Mumbai Indians will take on Chennai super Kings at latter’s home ground. The match will begin at 8pm Indian time. Chennai Super Kings will look to open its account with a win, whereas Mumbai Indians under its new captain Harbhajan Singh will try to settle last year’s defeat by the same opponent.

Richard Levi- the Mumbai Indians picked up this destructive South African opening batsman at this years auction. He holds the record for the fastest T20 century off 45 balls which included 13 sixes.

MS Dhoni- The charismatic captain who has led the Super kings to 2 titles will as always be a vital cog.
Suresh Raina- He is the IPL’s leading run scorer and will look to extend his lead over Sachin Tendulkar who is close on his heels.
Ravindra Jadeja- He was the most expensive buy at this years players auction and has since then fizzled out. He will look to turn a new leaf at this years IPL and prove that he is worth his billing.
